Any book, application note, etc to learn the basics of system and PCB design? not pcb layout, but pcb design (bypass capacitors, resistors, diodes, power sources, etc)

Added after 13 minutes:

EVERYBODY CAN PROGRAM A MICROCONTROLLER/FPGA, BUT FEW CAN IMPLEMENT THE WHOLE HARDWARE SYSTEM (BOARD) OUT OF THE SIMULATORS/DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENTS

You can't study all, somethings you learn in real world and system design is one of them. Simply start trying to understand designs and try to solve them your way !. How would you design it ???..

regards,

Paul.

So you say that you cannot learn the rules on where to place passive components around the chip to make a system work? is it like black magic?

Hi What I was talking about is called system design, you are talking about layout design this is something completely different.

Paul.
