Hi,

I use on my project a PIC18F4550, and the input informace is read with a barcode reader MINI HAWK from Microscan, via RS232.
I have never done something like this before. Could you give me please some pieces of advice how to interface the barcode reader with my PIC?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Read the guide and manual for this device. Also read about the its data format... how it sends data over UART.

Enjoy!!

will you upload datasheet or related material and check for communication medium with this device and controller.
