How to install microsoft office 2010

I purchase sony vaio laptop E series VPCEH35EN few days ago. The vendor installed MS Office 2010 into it. But this works only when I am online. When I am offline, It needs updation from internet and key to install. What should I do?

I haven''t heard of such a case, usually there is a demo version of office that works for a month or so but online of offline shouldn;t make a difference.

Anyway , one option is to buy office and the other to use the free https://www.libreoffice.org/

Its trial version of MS Office with trial licence for 120 days. Its standard selling packet with lots of laptops/notebooks with included preinstalation of Trial MS Office, and its MS Office Basic Edition. Microsoft migrating to online working of MS Office.
