proteus import

Hi,

I would like to know how to import pspice model into proteus so that I can simulate the part with microcontroller.

if I'm not mistaken, proteus is using berkely pspice engine, so I think it should be able to import pspice model.

using 3rd party spice model proteus

Hi

It is quite straightforward, I think it is easiest if you check example in help.
Proteus uses SPICE3F5, I am not sure you can do all simulations in lite version.

In ISIS go here:
Help-Sample Designs- GRAPH BASED SIMULATION SAMPLES- there you can open
SPICE1.DSN Example of how to use a 3rd party SPICE model for an IC.

SPICE2.DSN Example of how to use a 3rd party SPICE model for a transistor.

You can also run them directly from samples folder.

You can always start with editing the SPICE1 and use another opamp, this way you can verify you do it right.

Good luck and ask again if you run into problems.

import pspice model into proteus

Hi,

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, the Proteus version that I got doesnt have the advance simulation feature.

so I think, that is why I can open .dsn file in my Proteus.

Thanks.
