how to generate a start pulse in hspice simulation..

a problem about Hspice

u may write the simulation file of connect the input to the signal source.

e.g.
Vstart start 0 pwl(0 0 1u 0 1.001u 5);
the above line will generate a pulse rising at t=1us with slope 5 (V/ns), and stay at 5V.
