how to find power

Dear vaidy

Please give me the details how u calculate the time.

U Need to get the ZCD for Voltage & Current in External Interrupt Mode. From that using Timer u can Calculate the Power Factor.

Regards

how to find power factor

Hi ,

I also have doubt, my sir asks to suppose you have this value? how to find the power factor.

we need to convert the voltage current into degree and take cos(phi).

Thank you Sir.

What is the frequency? 50Hz or 60Hz?
If it is 50Hz, cycle time is 20ms.
So the phase difference in degrees between current and voltage will be
Phi = t x 360 / 20ms
Phi = 20ms x 360 / 20ms
Phi = 360° or 0°
Hence, PF = Cos(Phi) = Cos(0) = 1
