using sptool

hi, i would like to ask how to design a filter using those toolbox
and after i designed the filter, i could i apply it using them for the image?
and i could i decide what cutoff frequency should i use?
and i could i evaluate the frequency that i want for filter.
and how to estimate the sampling frequency of image for filtering.

in fda tool,u can make on dimensional filters,where image is 2-D signal

then, what is the toolbox is suitable for 2-D image?
because i found that the image processng toolbox (imtool) cant perform the filter, it need to use the command to perform it.

Sptool can implement 2-D filtering?

because this only i know is SPtool only the function to view the signal.
can i use the sptool to view the output of filtered image?
If i cant do it on sptool, its there any code to view it from the sptool?

thank you
