how to excite a TM mode using a patch or slot antenna?

Title says it all, I need to excite a TM mode (like the one excited by a coaxial-fed quarter-wavelength probe over a ground plane) using a patch or slot antenna.

I started by simulating with HFSS a microstrip fed annular slot antenna but I still don't get what I want. Do you think this geometry is a good candidate?

Do you know any other structure or geometry I should use or investigate?

Any suggestion will be very appreciated.
