how to program aduc

hi,
i want to use aduc842.I have been trying to program it using WSD downloader, but the controller is not responding.I am using XTAL clock of 32.768 KHz.I made PSEN low(GROUNDED with 1.5k resistor) and connected ALE pin to VCC(with 1.5 k resistor)But i left RESET pin left floating.can anyone help me "how to down load program to ADuC 842 ".

If you left the RESET pin floating, you should power cycle the chip (i.e. remove the DC power supply, then apply it again) to get it into download mode. It might be tricky to get the 32.768 kHz crystal to oscillate, so make sure you crystal is working.

aduc842 how to program

I am using ADuC 842 and 32.76k crystal. I have connected reset switch, PSEN to gnd through 1k resistor, EA to VDD. I am trying to programme it through WSD but its giving resseting part failed.If anyone can help me out there? Its a bit urgent
