I want to build a current mirror to handle 200u current. for 0.5u process, how to determine the optimized width of the device?

This depends on what you want to do...

A few guidelines:

1. increase the channel Length to improve current matching and output impedance.

2. If headroom allows, use cascode, wilson or wide swing cascode cofigurations.

3. Choose W to achieve a Vdsat that would give you the swinf you need.
