Hi, all

Who knows how to design a sensor to detect the total current of one chip?

Thanks.

Re: Current sensor

I guess, you are talking about supply currents? A chip may have one or more supply pins, possibly uitilizing several supply voltages. What do you regard as total current?

Yes, I want the detect every supply current.

Thanks.

Re: Current sensor

Yes use a longer defined metal trace. If you allow 50mV drop for maximum current and a offset-compensated SC-amplifier with about 10uV you can have 5000 digit reading.

But the metal resistance is about 20% and have strong positive tempco.
