I am working on a collinear printed antenna. The input impedance is about 80+j10. I need to design a matching network to lower the VSWR. BUT how to design it. Can you give me some examples or references?
The bandwidth is about 20MHz. The operating frequency is about 2GHz. I need a matching network made on a substrate, not of lumped elements, but of maybe quarter-wave transformers and tuners.
Re: How to design a microstrip matching network for antenna?
What kind of substrate? Epsilon-r? Dielectric thickness? Conductor thickness?

Do you want a transformer on the same substrate or do you want to make it before the SMA connector? It is important to know (as plasma says) about the ground surface.
