how to delete fingerprint from database in matlab

how to delete the fingerfrint

i'm doing my final project, about fingerprint recognition.
i can delete all the information that stored in database in one time.
but i'm hving problem in delete an user's information and keep the other's in database.
i always delete all the database,
plz help....
thank a lot...
 

What database you're using in Matlab? You mean the matrix? Please describe your question in more details.
 

i think the type of database is cell array,
the command to save my data is
' save('fp.dat','data','fpnum','-append');'where fpnum the sequence number of user.
thank 4 help...
