Hello,

I want to know the work region of a transistor using ADS Tool? there is a file when i can illustrate the diffrent parameters of a transistor or an other method??????????

Thanks in advance

Re: ADS simulation

If you have its s-parameters model (*.s2p file), then you are working in the linear region and with certain bias that is determined in the s-parameters file. On the other hand, if you have the non-linear model of the transistor, a circuit model given in the datasheet, then you can simulate high-power non-linears circuits accurately.

ADS simulation

I guess, in the model binding file there should be a " operating region" option(forward, saturation, cutoff etc) to define the operating zone of the transistor.
