when I read a lef file to generate milkyway database FRAM view for P&R, a map file is needed.
so where is it? should create it by myself?
if so, what should i write in the map file? if not, how can i generate it automatically or find it somewhere?

Best regards

Hi,
if i am not mistaken, u r looking for FRAM cell to map a file and these cells or files are taken by standard libraries and which r provided by Artisan.
if no tell me on which tool u r working and exactly what u want to do?

Prashant

yes, i use artisan's memory compiler and generate a sram with lef, gdsII and other files.
I am now P&R using Astro. I need p&r library for the ram.
when i read lef file to generate library, astro need a map file both, so I want to what this map file is.

You need to create this map file by yourself.
The map file describe cell type definition.
as example:
gdsMacroCell RAM_4096x24 (define RMA_4096x24 be a macro)
gdsStandardCell AOI222 (define AOI222 be a standard cell)
gdsPadCell
