Hi Genovator
I searched in the google before writing this post
I want to convert ps2 to USB but the links that you introduced , were for converting USB to PS2
PS2 & usb have different data transmission protocols. So obviously they cannot be hard wired directly. In the above links I gave, it is only possible for USB to PS2, not the reverse.
So the data in PS2 protocol is converted in usb protocol by microcontrollers. Software is written in controllers and these software have data table. There isn't any ic found to do this job. It involves a lot of complex programming techniques. Tried to search a lot but no DIY project is found in this topic. So the cheapest solution is to buy a converter.
I've bought several USB mice that come with a USB-PS2
adaptor. Where you could buy such a thing I do not know,
mostly they get thrown out. Probably some PC repair place
has a box full of such odds and ends.
Thanks Dear peter
I think this works, when we want to convert USB to ps2 because most of the device such as mouse or keyboard that worked with USB before, work with PS2 too.
but When my device work with PS2,can I connect to computer with this method?
