Hi All,

I'm pleased to joining you. I mean this forum.

Well, I have a question NOW!

How can i convert 220V AC to 5V AC. I need that for synchronise purpose.

Any one may upload a circuit.! Please ..

It depends on the application. If the 220V is AC mains, the current is low and you don't mind the health risk, you can do it with two resistors. Otherwise I would suggest a 220V to 5V transformer is the best solution.

Brian.

Hi,the best and most safer is to used step down transformer.

A step down transformer ( isolating ) is your best bet.

For clock synchronisation only? Optocoupler.

Yes, that's What I want.

5 V AC square wave like Clk signals.

I mean. How can I modify the 5 V sine wave to be a square wave.

I know that I need i deferential amplifier, but I want a ready schematic circuit that do it.

Is the below circuit helpful ?
