how to control intermodulation products in the case of mixer I want to know what are the things I need ti take care while designing mixer?

Re: mixer

Hi,

Although I'm not a designer, and with RF system background.
I know that IM product is more related to linearity. Better linearity
give you larger allowable swing signal input with smaller IM distortion
product energy. Self-mixing effect IM2 while other thing may effect
frequency conversion factor thus IM3. Mixer bias would affect linearity much.
I'm sorry not being able to answer your question but just provide my experience.
