How to connect Microcontroller to computer..

Hello all,
Hope you all are doing well..

I am a software developer and I am very new for micro controller programming.
I don't know how to connect my 4 pin micro controller to my computer, will any one of you tell me how to connect and how to transfer the hexa code to microcontroller.
