[AVR] How to connect A HH10D (humidity sensor) using i2c to an atmega16

I need to connect the sensor to an atmega16 and output its readings using hyperterminal but I have never delt with i2c so need help with its coding and is there anywhere specific to connect the sensor. And a, using avr studio for the coding part of it

You need bidirectional voltage level shifter if your sensor is 3.3V and micro 5V.

I got that but my prob is with the coding for i2c

Are you using i2c library? It uses FOSH01 humidity sensor. Provide its datasheet.
