I have been using Electric Vlsi tool to design the layout of Inverter. How to measure the area of the layout in micro sq.m?

2. Also how to import the ptm model files especially FinFET model file in Electric Vlsi tool?

Last I looked (over a decade ago) Electric didn't have its own
simulator. It did have ability to write a SPICE deck and access
results. You'd have to pick a SPICE, one that supports the
compact model that the foundry fitted models to (or close
enough that you can get equivalent results using existing
parameters and minimal work / discrepancies.

Getting area should be easy, there ought to be either a
"ruler" menu function, or a coordinates readout somewhere
on the layout screen where you could pick off corners and
calculate X*Y.
