how to accses atomation through zigbee with intrnet?

i m final year student of electronics and communication eng.
my final project definition is access automation by zigbee with INTERNET.
i have no knowledge about wireless networking and i do not know how to connect zigbee with the pc?, how to give command to that pc which is connected to zigbee module through INTERNET?
