AOA and Hi to all

charges are always in motion then how in electrostatics we study charges at rest..

i.e. the question is
"Charges are always in motion then how does the definition of electrostatics justifies it that study of charges at rest."

plz Elaborate me, thanks in advance

Hi,

We talk about different things - elementary charges (electrons, ions) which are constantly in motion and the electrical field of big objects. If you have a charged a capacitor the electrons itself are really moving all the time, but the field is static (until you don't charge / discharge the capacitor)
