Hi,

How Crossbar mode and Shared access mode in AXI Interconnect worksIN DETATIL?

In Crossbar mode if multiple masters tryin to access same slave, which master gets the priority? Does the other master has to wait till the completion of First master?.

In Shared access mode, why read got the highest priority?

How response channel is taken care for the each master?

thanks in advance,
arjun

I referred to this document and it clearly distinguishes the difference between two and you can also work on AXI Interconnect LogiCore IP in EDK to know the difference.

N-to-M Interconnect (Crossbar Mode)
N-to-M Interconnect (Shared Access Mode)

which master gets the priority? - Arbiter handles this task and you can also find how arbiter works for this AXI Interconnect.

If you can understand how ARBITER works then most of your doubts will get cleared I guess...
