how Q factor of resonator can stabilize an oscillator

I wanted to know that in Microwave oscillators like reflex klystrons or others.How does the Q factor of cavity resonators used in oscillators are used to change the stability of oscillator.

Is there any analytical relation,article or book explaining that.
