Hi friends,

I am using QPSK means its constellation contains 4 points.Total data symbols 100.

1) Is that constellation diagram is in frequency domain or time domain or no

domain ?

2)At the receiver how ML detection checks the decision regions ?

since we have 100 symbols ,these 100 belongs to the set of 4 constellation points or decisoin regions.

Please explain me at the Rx How this ML detection processes those 100 symbols to select the decision regions.

Thanks in Advance ,

For the ML decision, you need make some assumptions for the noise distribution. For the AWGN, the ML decision boundaries are just the + or - for the I, Q signals.
