I made a post in one of the forums and I can't find it. I then tried to post again and it said it was a duplicate. I search my posts and the new post doesn't show up. Is there a long delay before each post shows up?

It´s a standard security directive of vBulletin forum which keep some threads into a stream awaiting for approval. While your post is not evaluated for the forum staff, once happening a new attempt to post, there will be generated a new copy of the post, and inevitably the duplicate must be removed. The system will automatically notify you about the fact.

For this reason, it is advisable to be patient, or contact in PM some moderator currently online.
