can anybody tell me how exactly HARQ is implemented? my problem is i dont understand in HARQ, how it is checked at both PHY and MAC layers? And exactly how physical layer is used for this? I tried to search lot of material on this, I couldnt find it. Also if the explanation is given in respect to WiMax it would be a great thing.
