There is an official definition for polarization which is amplitude and phase dependant as shown bellow, but the plot is E_theta vs E_phi. when we look at the radiation pattern,we can look on the endfire and broad side cross-section vs angle How can we extract the data about the phase and amplitude needed for the polarization?
Thanks.

You want to extract the amplitude and phase from a measured antenna pattern, or is about a simulation?

Hello Vfone,We have radiation pattern shown bellow,i am having problem to visualise where is Ex and where is Ey needed for axial ratio calculation.(purely for theoretical calculation, without looking at CST axial ratio output, only cross sections)
Thanks.
