How do we calculate the die size from cell count of our design?

Re: cell count

Assumption here is you know the cell sizes...you know the number of cells. So just multiply the
cells with its dimension you will get the rough area estimate. Then add delta for global routing and pad placing you will get the die area estimate.

Re: cell count

There is another thing, you can tako into acount if your cells are overalping...

cell count

whats this delta ?
if we add wt happens?

Re: cell count

if you add delta you are counting some space that will be unused, so it makes you oversize your estimation.
