Am trying to implement an oscilloscope and i want to know how to change the frequency of a digital signal

Hello !
By appling the frequency divider or by simple counter you can change the frequency of the Digital Signal.

Take Care

How r u obtaining ur signal????
If from microcontroller, then use TIMER interrupt & make ON & OFF a portpin to ur desired frequency by filling the reload values.....

I'm surprised you want to make an oscilloscope and don't know how to do that, good luck

Use a DDS chip for digitally synthesized signals.
