Hello there,

How can one extract the current DC version _during_ the synthesis.

I know dc_shell-t -version, but I can't use it during the synthesis part.

All I need to do, is able to set compile ultra with respect to the DC version on my scripts.

There should be a variable which stores DC version.

Re: extract DC version

printvar sh_product_version at dc_shell prompt will tell , which version of Design compiler you are using during synthesis.

Sam

extract DC version

thanks it helped. Thus I gave your 3 points.

However do you know where in DC (tcl shell) I could lanuch a TK gui or not ?

Re: extract DC version

With TCL GUI, design_vision will do the same application.
With Shell mode, design_analyzer will do the same application.

Sam
