I'm new ti this field and I want to find "n" but I have no idea how I should calculate it?

The above equation seems like being a general solution, where n much probably lies in the Natural domain (0, 1, 2,...,∞) anyway it's just a guess from someone who have no idea of where this equation was taken from.

no, it's a normal distribution and gamma distribution but I dont know how it is converted.
It would be useful if you can tell us what is the meaning of the other symbols there. I'm sure that it is available on the text book from where you took the above equation. At least for me, some characters used at the above notation was not too usual in the literature that I used.
