Hi
I have a problem in designing a micro strip feeding in CST.
when I design a coaxial feeding , I define coax entrance for port, for example I select dielectric's face of coax for port.
But when I design a micro strip line as port, CST make an error that says the port can not contain completely from PEC !

does any body know what is may fault in design ?javascript:emoticon('')

best regards

hi
Thank you for your answer.
but I think my problem is in working with CST. how I can define micro-strip port in CST. which face I have to select to define it as port ? for example to define a coax as port , I have to select dielectric face as port. How about micro-strip feeder ?

Hi & tnx majidmad!

Hmmm_I must pass it, sorry...

Hey,

I'm having the same problem too. Is it possible to define a sheet perpendicular to the end of microstrip line and then define the port?
