hellow everyone

i want different solutions

my problem is i am using pic 16f877 adc .
my sensor output is ranged from 0- 25v how can i use these voltages because my adc max voltage is 5V

one of my friend suggest me voltage divider how can i calculate the resistance of volage divider circuit and tell me the circuit?

is there any other solution that i can downconvert 0-25v into 0-1v????

or 0-25v to 0-5v

or 0-25v to 0-2.5v

i know microcontroller can easily handle milli volt ....

so tell me the solution...

i will b thankful to you
