Re: how can i control a 220VAC appliances using microcontrol
Hi,
The optocoupler is OK, solid state relay too, but you must think and for something other. Depending from your load, you will have a interferences, and i can say big interferences. The better choice is using solidtstate relay with zero cross control, in this case you will have the smallest interferences. If the load is more that 3-5 kW then you can will have a big problem.
The AT89x is not a very stable if have a strong interference, you must very careffuly make aPCB design, power, reset, and output, because your procesora will be unstable.
