something to think (and calculate) about.
You say 98% efficiency. And it´s for lightning in a gallery.
Maybe a not very small galery. And the transformer probalbly is not in the most center of all the lights.
For a galery hall thougt the wiring from transformer to the lights maybe is 40m.
if I take the efficiency of the wiring also to be 98%, then the aluminum bus bars need about 650mm^2 = about a square inch.
...and for two bus bars 40m each it makes a total weight of about 150kg.
Assumed pure DC. ...with something other than DC it becomes worse.
