data converters

what r data converters do they have any role in sampling of analog signals

data converters

Data converter can be Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) or Digital to Analog Converter (DAC).

Re: data converters

usually digital data are free from noise or they are less affected by noise so it is efficient to use digital format for data. to convert analog signal to digital and vice versa we use data converters

Re: data converters

And as far as the second question is concerned data convertion involves two inseparable processes: the periodic sampling of the analog signal and the digital representation of the sampled waveform..
So,
do they have any role in sampling of analog signals
it is sampling that is part of data conversion, not the opposite way around..

Re: data converters

ADC - converts analog to digital data
DAC - converts ditital data to analog signals

Re: data converters

ADC is a analog to digatal converter;
DAC is a digatil to analog converter.
