most of the home security system control panel input has a voltage (6vdc maximum) if we measure with respect to ground. After connecting the sensor with a series resistor(5.6k used), the voltage at input pin reduced. In open circuit maximum voltage will present in the input pin(6v), closed circuit voltage will be reduced.

How the same we can program with a micro controller(PIC)/?
 

What sensor you are talking. Magnetic reed switch ? Glass break detector ?
 

Use the sensor to drive a small relay, then use the relay contact to drive the alarm input.
