Greatings! Is there a simple microcontoller capable of operation with 4 LAN ports? I want to make a simple LAN switch. I don`t want to use usual microcontroller with many Ethernet controller chips, but may be 1 universal. I think it will be cheaper. I opened one switch and it has 1 Samsung ARM S3C2500B01(I couldn`t fine datasheet). I think I need something similar. Is there any schematic for such simple device?
Thanks!

Ethernet switches are implemented in hardwired logic. The required throughput can't be achieved by a "simple microcontroller", even a very fast one.
