I want to send and receive data using HMT and HMR modules.

I am using ATMega8 and BASCOM, but even a simple program does not work on this module.
For the transmitter, I connect the HMT’s data pin to TXD and send a 10-character string.
For the receiver, I connect the HMR’s data pin to RXD and wait for the string to show it on LCD. But nothing happens, nothing.
How can you help me? Need my program and schematic?
