Hi,

Have you seen anyone who had simulated a probe-sensor using HFSS (or other tool) ?
Notice: A probe-sensor is simply a Dipole Receiving-Antenna.

My setup has: 1 source-transmitting-antenna and 1 probe-receiving-antenna. And I would like to obtain the Power received by the probe (when I change its dimensions, distance, etc...).

My 2 questions are: 1) How to set up a manual-mesh between the EMPTY space between the transmitting and the receiving antenna. 2) Which kind of ports to use (lumped ports) and which kind of simulation (driven modal or driven terminal).

Thank you in advance for your help.

PS: I've tried lumped-port for both the source-antenna and the probe-antenna, but still don't know how to obtained the RECEIVED power.
