in the field>edit sources part in Hfss, we can set the magnitude and phase of the excitation port. I want to optimize the pattern of a 3 element monopole array antenna by changing the magnitude and phase of excitation, but it seems that it doesn't accept parameters.
Could anyone please help?
you should create the sxcitation coefficient by one of the phased array algorithm in matlab and then appy them to hfss!
it is impossible to change them as peremeters in hfss

after simulation in matlab, you should put the excitation coefficient in :
HFSS/Fileds/Edit Source/
and put the amplitude and phase of your design values
