Hi All,
When I optimise say a filter in ADS/Momentum, I set the goals for example db[S11] <= -18dB over a particular frequency range.
How can I do the same with optimetrics?
So far I do this..
(1) I set the variables to be optimised (lengths, widths of the microstrip circuit elements).
(2) I select parameter dB(S(WavePort1,WavePort1))
(4) Select frequency range.
(3) Set condition to <=
(4) Set goal to -18.
(5) Set Weight to 1.
Not sure what to enter for acceptable cost though, so I leave it at 0??
However when I select optimetrics analyse, It always bombs out with something about invalid expression?
Please could someone give me a swept optimetrics example using S-parameters or explain how to set the parameters, as usual the various examples/literature from Ansoft is crap!!!
