Hi!

The model used in my HFSS simulation is stripline, and I'd like to integrate the surface current density (Jsurf) over a line which is defined as the contour path around the conductor. However, I don't know how to make it.

I've supposed 2 possible solutions.

1) integrate directly in HFSS with Field Calculator. However, I've read the cook book and there are only examples about integration over a surface (like integration of Poynting vector over a cross section). There is no demonstration about how to integrate over a line. I tried to integrate Jsurf over a line many times and there were always error that 'the stack contents are incompatible with the current operation'.

2) firstly export Jsurf, then calculate the integration manually. However, I don't know how to export Jsurf and the dimension of each corresponding cell in the mesh. (I suppose that Jsurf is uniform in each cell)

Has anyone encountered such situation?

Thanks in advance!
