HFSS- Do we need to assign material for PORTS?

Hello all,
In HFSS do we need to assign material for ports.or leave it unassigned?. I am using "WAVEPORTS" and I have left the material as "NOT assigned". is this ok?

It is Ok.
Actually, the port thickness is zero, it doesn't matter what it is. It will inherit material property from other objects touching the port face.
