help !!!! Xilinx i4.1 sp3 install problem

a error message "A valid $XILINX environment cannot be locate and is required to load the xilinx software" to hold install sp3.

how to set $xilinx?

This environment variable points to the root of your Xilinx installation. For example (Win32 system):
XILINX=c:xilinx

Set the environment variable (the right way for your host OS) before applying the service pack.

Hi kairi_mai,

To set up your environment variable in w2k (i.e) go to:

System Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> and here add a new variable called XILINX pointing to your top ISE folder (C:XILINX or wherever you installed it)
