Help with MSP430F2011 jtag interface

Hi Guys,

I am using MSP430F2011 chip with IAR kickstart. When i try to debug with Jlink430 and MSP FET 430UIF. I get a communication error saying that the device is not connect or then device is not recognised. Can some pls help me whats happning here..


I have just connected the jtag interface as follows

Jlink/UTIF MSP430F2011
Pin Name Pin
1 TDO 9 tdo
2 VCC 1 vcc
3 TDI 8 tdi
4 Vsense -
5 TMS 7 tms
6 NC -
7 TCK 6 tck
8 TEST 11 tst
9 GND 14 gnd
10 NC -
11 RESET 10 rst with pull up reg
12 NC -
13 NC -
14 NC -

can some let me know wht is wrong...
