I've completed my project using PIC18F4520,74HC595.
But it is flickering .
how to stop or minimize this flickering ???
I'hv tried timer interrupt method but unable to do so .

Here I attached my code and proteus simulation file.
Please help me.

Is the flickering happening in Simulation or Real hardware....
Because what you see in simulation is not 100% perfect... It won't bother about actual hardware implemented... try the circuit in real hardware and check... this may be because of CPU overloading(This is my guess it may not be the right answer also)
 

while i simulate in proteus it is not showing any notification regarding excessive CPU load.
and also i want to improve this codes efficiency.
Also want to know how to calculate refresh rate,frame rate etc.
 

I seen your design but i want this design using my code.
I've generated interrupt by unable to work in code.
So i need your help to work my code using interrupt method.
I've attached my design in post #1.
