op comparator wiki

input signal:20mv@160MHz sine wave
output:digital signal (pulse wave)
which circuit should I use?

pre-amp + track-latch comparator

do i need a 160MHz clock to control track-latch??

yeah, you can seperate the pre-amp cycle and latch cycle using 160M clock!

I think maybe 160MHz clock is not enough for 160MHz signal, maybe you should use multiphase sampling

you can use basic comparator or limiter design, of course the track-latch is one kind which need clock

I think you don't have to clock the comparator - you can just use a reg latch without clock ...

Just use an open loop high gain OTA with a couple of inverters as the load.

low offset pre amp + inverter
maybe
